Our Founder and Chief Culture Officer, Ms. Dina Bell Nance, is considered a highly sought-after global speaker, thought leader and facilitator with a desire to spark Passion, Purpose and Power into every group she and her team encounter. Ms. Nance founded Training by Design, Incorporated in 2002 initially for the core purpose of Empowering, Educating and Equipping Leaders and Staff with a Spirit of Excellence. Over the years, her mission has transitioned to one focused on culture. Ms. Nance and her team specialize in creating L&D experiences that are collaborative, engaging and interactive for the core purpose of enhancing their Corporate Culture.

Learning & Development Consultants
Dr. Jerry Bolling
Dr. Bolling is a retired federal government manager with 30 years of service and a diverse background in the financial community working in accounting, budgeting, contract management, internal controls, and other areas of financial management. He has also specialized in Wellness in the Workplace through coaching, development, engagement, and training programs from the staff level to the executive levels of leadership. Additionally, Dr. Bolling serves as the treasurer for a non-profit organization and acts as a youth mentor for the Prince George’s County Public High School P-Tech program.
Dr. Phyllis Slade
Phyllis Slade-Martin, PhD brings over 30 years of experience as an independent historian focused on research, program management, education, and organizational consulting. She has facilitated and presented to university groups, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and businesses and has also served as the director of the African American Studies Research and Resource Center and the associate director of the program at George Mason University (GMU). She has also volunteered with several organizations, including the South Africa Washington Internship Program, the Varee Slade Foundation, and the Bokamoso Youth Foundation. She holds a Masters Degree in History and College Student Personnel Administration and a Ph.D. in History from George Mason University.
Veronica L. Matthews
Veronica is a dual-senior certified Human Resources professional of 27 years where her passion for talent management and talent development was kindled. Veronica now serves as a certified Executive Leadership Coach and Corporate Trainer who uses coaching and assessments (DISC and 360° feedback), in combination with training and development programs to improve the effectiveness of organizations by strengthening their leader’s ability to engage, retain and empower their employees which results in lower turnover, higher engagement and higher productivity. Veronica also serves as the Sunday School instructor for her church.
Andrea E. Monroe
Andrea E. Monroe is a United States Air Force Veteran with 16 years of experience in program management, education and training. She is also an educational trainer and business consultant and coach who has over 20 years of experience in education and consulting services in classroom management, behavior management, and social emotional learning. She has worked in education at all levels to include private and public-school sectors. As a facilitator, she encourages, equips and empowers adults and kids in a variety of disciplines that promote growth in their specific areas of expertise.

Kryshana Hicks
Kryshana Hicks professional experience spans over 25 years in every aspect of the software development lifecycle. Her focus has been to enhance web applications and websites to be secure, responsive, and compliant from the front-end to back-end, ultimately resolving complex issues and creating a clean, simple, user-friendly environment for her customers and website visitors. As an entrepreneur and Web Master, Ms. Hicks has led and developed web application projects for federal and local governments, chambers of commerce, commercial and private businesses. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Information Science and Systems from Morgan State University and a Masters Degree in Information and Telecommunication Systems from Johns Hopkins University.
Jennyfer Villalta
Jennyfer Villalta, Graphic Design & Brand Consultant brings over 5 years of experience in the areas of marketing, communication graphic design and strategic multi-channel marketing to drive consumer demand. She has overseen graphic design needs and marketing campaigns from start to finish. She has also supported quarterly and yearly goals for department and company that align with PR, social media, design, and digital marketing to include brand books, documentation as well as event advertisement design.
